Discover Isle sur la Sorgue and Cavaillon

Around our guest house between Cavaillon and Isle sur la Sorgue, there is no shortage of hilltop villages, renowned natural sites and outdoor activities. Cavaillon is known for its melons but also for its Via Ferrata located on the Saint Jacques hill. A few minutes from our guest rooms, Isle sur la Sorgue is worth a visit with its water wheels. Every Sunday morning, the village is transformed into a giant market that welcomes second-hand dealers and antique dealers. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy going down the Sorgue in a canoe kayak, between Fontaine de Vaucluse and Isle sur la Sorgue.

Village of Gordes

10 kilometers from our guest rooms, discover Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages in France. All the walls of the houses in the village are made of dry stone, laid one on top of the other. This emblematic village perched on the Monts du Vaucluse, overlooks the Coulon valley and offers a breathtaking view of the Lubéron. Near Gordes, don't miss a visit to the Abbaye de Sénanque, surrounded by lavender fields, even more spectacular from mid-June to the end of July with the lavender in bloom!

Les Beaux de Provence, a village perched high in the Alpilles, is known worldwide for its Carrières de Lumières which host multimedia artistic shows with projections of famous works set to music. On the Alpilles side, Saint Rémy de Provence is worth a detour with its green valleys.

Our home is at the center of many tourist excursions. Just 20 kilometers away is Avignon and its famous bridge. You will enjoy strolling along the Rhône or behind the Palais des Papes. During the Avignon Festival in July, consider Mas Saint Julien for your accommodation.
